Heroica Construction is a general contractor working on a renovation project at Rhode Island College. We hired Atlantic Abatement to remove several hundred feet of the vinyl base that was in direct contact with asbestos-containing joint compound on the walls. Atlantic Abatement performed this work with absolutely no problems. But we ran into a situation of unforeseen conditions whereby asbestos floor tiles were uncovered and to keep the project on schedule Atlantic Abatement brought in additional manpower and equipment to remediate the tiles in one day. Props to Atlantic and Jared for a job well done.
