Emergency in Tiverton

On an early Sunday morning, Atlantic was called into emergency action for a fire-damaged building in Tiverton, Rhode Island.

On an early Sunday morning, Atlantic was called into emergency action when a fire caught to a historic mill-complex, located in Tiverton, RI. Flames engulfed the building in the middle of the night, deeming the mill structurally unsound. If this wasn’t an unfortunate enough event on its own, there were also large quantities of asbestos containing materials located throughout the building that now required immediate remediation.

Atlantic promptly mobilized, contacted the proper authorities and retrieved all necessary permits in order to proceed with the asbestos abatement and demolition work. Thanks to Atlantic’s swift response, the building was safely abated and demolished within a 2-day timeframe, restoring the area from a multi-hazard nightmare to a clean and safe location.
